Non-invasive Mechanical Ventilation System with AI-based Predictive Estimation of Patient Clinical Progression.Develop a non-invasive mechanical ventilation system for ICUs that, using AI applied to surface electromyography (sEMG) signals, predicts clinical respiratory progression, detects deterioration and anticipates muscle fatigue and respiratory failure, allowing treatment and ventilation therapy to be adjusted in real time.

The expected outcome of the project is the final development of a product, the INBENTUS VERSATILE+ ICU ventilator, at a sufficient stage of technological maturity to enable laboratory testing with medical relevance and robust scientific literature and evidence to support the benefits of its application, allowing clinical staff to predict the future progression of the patient’s illness and adapt both treatment and ventilatory therapy accordingly.
