Robotics and Industrial Automation
The Robotics and Industrial Automation Department offers support in the development of a company’s processes, such as process improvement, operations management, lean manufacturing, physical distribution, methods-time measurement, quality and environmental management systems, and product certifications.
This department also offers technological support using simulation tools in the handling, control, programming, development and implementation of tailor-made applications, and analyses robotic cells in production lines.
Identifying processes that can be improved through process mapping and proposed actions for change management and technological innovation.

Automation of industrial processes
Identifying processes that can be automated, design and implementation of new work cells and re-engineering.
The aim of this project is to develop a robotic cell for automating the process of applying adhesive to polyurethane foam and to bring robotics closer to furniture manufacturers.
The challenge of this project is to use collaborative robotics to combine the speed of human workers and the precision of robotics to improve current processes, and to be able to reduce the time spent on the taping part, while improving ergonomics.
