Product Testing
Product testing is an essential phase needed for the development of new products. It is a validation technology that makes it possible to find out whether a product is safe, resistant, durable, etc. before it is launched on the market. Product testing is carried out in compliance with current standards.
CE Marking for Medical Devices
This service covers all the steps needed for a medical device such as beds, bed bases, relax armchairs, etc., to obtain the CE marking self-certification.
Material Testing
Material testing is the testing of raw materials (foams, fabrics, boards, coatings, etc.) to identify their technical features, either for quality control, for obtaining a certificate or for studying their potential incorporation into a final product. Tests are normally carried out in compliance with standards.
Environmental Management
Setting the requirements necessary to obtain the environmental management certification under the UNE-EN-ISO14001 quality standard (Environmental Management System). This standard is internationally established and companies implementing it demonstrate that their commitment to the environment is aligned with the standard.

Materials, Adhesives and Polymers
The main research lines in the Materials Department is the development of materials with innovative and improved properties, as well as the reuse, recycling and upcycling of the materials used in the furniture sector, promoting the transition of this traditional sector to a circular model.
