RECIPOL boosts cooperation at second Cervera Network meeting in Zaragoza
The meeting served to review progress in polyurethane recycling, strengthen cooperation between partners and reaffirm the commitment to the circular economy and sustainability.
The second face-to-face meeting of the Cervera Network RECIPOL was held on 25 and 26 September at the AITIIP facilities in Zaragoza. The aim of this meeting was to evaluate the progress of the project and to outline new strategies to strengthen the collaboration between the participating entities.
CETEM stresses the importance of these face-to-face meetings to synchronise efforts between project partners. Close cooperation is essential to ensure compliance with the objectives of RECIPOL, which seeks to innovate in polyurethane recycling and move towards a more sustainable future. These meetings allow synergies to be detected, joint work to be optimised and the efficiency of the research and development teams to be improved.
In addition to the technical aspects, this meeting served to reaffirm the project’s commitment to the circular economy. RECIPOL aims to transform the life cycle of polyurethane, improving its recyclability and reducing its environmental impact. During the conference in Zaragoza, the partners also worked on critical issues such as intellectual property protection and the dissemination of results, ensuring that advances are translated into industrial applications.
RECIPOL will be a reference in the polyurethane recycling sector, thanks to the combined efforts of the partners. Meetings such as the one hosted by AITIIP in Zaragoza are essential to keep the project aligned with its objectives and strengthen the commitment to sustainability and innovation.
