CETEM participated in the first face-to-face workshop of the innovative INSET project, held in Strasbourg (France) from 23-24 January. This collaborative initiative, in partnership with the Université de Strasbourg and leading organisations such as Símbiosy, I Sistemi Formativi Confindustria, Sixys and RRA Podravje – Maribor, marks a significant step towards the transformation of industries through Industrial Symbiosis (IS).
Its active participation in the INSET project aligns with its main objective: the implementation of Industrial Symbiosis to foster circular business models and promote sustainability. This effort envisions a transformative change in the business landscape, and CETEM is at the forefront in creating an advanced training programme enriched with innovative digital tools.
During the implementation of the project, the following results are expected:
- Capability Development Methodology: A comprehensive framework that empowers companies with enhanced Industrial Symbiosis capabilities.
- INSET Online Toolkit: An arsenal of four digital tools designed to raise understanding and awareness of Industrial Symbiosis.
- Open Access Observatory: A centralised platform providing crucial information on legislation, training courses and other relevant aspects of Industrial Symbiosis.
- Policy Brief: Addressing challenges and offering insights for policy makers navigating the complexities of Industrial Symbiosis.
