“Women Driving Circular Innovation in the Furniture Industry” webinar to take place on 22 October 2026
The event, part of the European CirCLER project, will be held online on October 22 and will bring together prominent women in the field of sustainability in furniture and design.

On 22 October 2026, from 10:00 to 11:30 CEST, the third session of the Women for Circular Furniture Conference Cycle will take place online, bringing together women leaders, entrepreneurs and sustainability professionals who are contributing to the circular transformation of the furniture and design sectors.
Hosted by CETEM within the framework of the CirCLER project, this webinar will explore how women in leadership and management positions are helping companies move towards more sustainable and circular business models.
The event will open with a keynote speech by Mónica Chao, from Acativa, entitled “Women’s Leadership for a More Circular Industry”. Her intervention will reflect on the role of women in advancing sustainability within companies and on the importance of leadership, collaboration and long-term vision in accelerating the circular transition of industry.
Following the keynote, participants will hear first-hand experiences from women leading sustainability and circular innovation across the furniture and design sectors:

This third online conference continues the Women for Circular Furniture Conference Cycle, an initiative launched within the CirCLER project to increase the visibility of women contributing to the transformation of the furniture sector, while creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaboration and professional networking.
The webinar is open to companies, professionals, researchers, designers, students and anyone interested in sustainability, circular economy and the future of the furniture industry.
