ShiftVET comes to an end and publishes its third and final newsletter
The Erasmus+ project is bringing its activities to a close, which have focused on promoting digital transformation in education within the furniture sector

After months of collaboration, practical learning and knowledge exchange, the Erasmus+ ShiftVET project has officially come to an end, successfully completing its activities aimed at promoting digital transformation in vocational education and training (VET) within the wood and furniture sector.
To mark this milestone, ShiftVET has released its third and final newsletter, offering a look back at the project’s latest activities, main achievements and resources developed through the collaboration of its four European partners.
One of the main highlights of this final edition is the three dissemination events organised in Italy, Latvia and Spain, which brought together 89 participants, including students, teachers, trainers and other stakeholders. These events provided an opportunity to share the project’s results, exchange experiences and reflect on how digital technologies can contribute to more innovative and practical vocational training.
The newsletter also presents some of the project’s final outcomes, including three practical factsheets documenting training experiences developed by the partners and the ShiftVET Implementation Guide, available in English, Spanish, Italian and Latvian. These resources have been designed to support VET providers interested in adapting and replicating the project’s approaches in their own educational settings.
Readers can also discover ShiftVET’s achievements in numbers and watch the project’s final video, which brings together some of the most significant moments, activities and experiences from this European initiative.
Although the project has now concluded, its impact does not end here. The educational resources, practical methodologies and knowledge developed throughout ShiftVET will remain freely available to teachers, trainers and VET organisations, supporting the integration of digital technologies into wood and furniture education beyond the project’s lifetime.
The ShiftVET partnership would also like to thank everyone who has contributed to this journey, particularly the students, teachers, trainers and stakeholders whose participation, experiences and feedback have helped shape the project’s results.
