The WENUS platform is now fully operational: a comprehensive digital hub for sustainable education on wood and furniture

The platform represents the main legacy of the WENUS project, providing learners, teachers, vocational education and training (VET) providers, companies and other stakeholders with free access to a complete set of resources designed to promote sustainability, circular economy principles and innovation within the wood and furniture sector. 

Over the course of the project, the consortium has worked collaboratively to design, validate and integrate a wide range of educational materials into a user-friendly digital platform. All project results are now available in one place, making it easier for users to explore the training programme and benefit from the knowledge generated by the partnership. 

Among the resources available on the platform are: 

• Educational modules covering key sustainability topics for the wood and furniture sector. 

• Interactive learning materials and practical exercises (3D printing) 

• Digital self-learning resources. 

• Supporting materials for trainers and educators. 

The platform has been designed to ensure long-term accessibility and usability beyond the lifetime of the project. By centralising all project outcomes in a single digital environment, WENUS aims to maximise the exploitation of its results and facilitate their adoption by education providers, industry professionals and other interested organisations across Europe. 

The launch of the fully integrated platform marks one of the project’s final milestones and demonstrates the consortium’s commitment to creating lasting educational resources that remain available after the project’s completion.
