CETEM is promoting universal accessibility and sustainability with the ErgoFlow tool from the AccesS project
This initiative focuses on ensuring accessibility and sustainability by transforming environments and smart cities

As part of the AccesS project, CETEM remains committed to ongoing social innovation and human-centred design. The main aim of this initiative is to transform the way we think about built environments and smart cities, ensuring that accessibility and sustainability are not merely concepts, but tangible realities.
The project consortium is currently working on the development of ErgoFlow, an application designed to analyse and understand the ergonomics of furniture. Tools such as this enable us to incorporate the human factor from the early stages of design, which is essential if we are to create truly inclusive spaces.
AccesS works precisely in this direction: integrating accessibility, comfort and efficiency into solutions that meet people’s real needs, particularly those with reduced mobility or different abilities.
This approach is no accident. As outlined in the project’s state-of-the-art review, there is a clear need to move towards more accessible, comfortable and adapted environments, combining technological innovation with user-centred design.
AccesS and CETEM continue their work to develop tools and knowledge that will help transform the way we design our spaces.
