MAYA aims to empower Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA) cancer survivors to manage their cardiovascular (CV) health through digital tools that address cardiotoxic-related late effects of cancer treatment. The project envisions using the iCARE health hub, which integrates a smart mirror and an AI-powered conversational agent, to deliver personalised care and continuous monitoring. Results to be achieved:

Track and predict the risk of suffering different adverse cardiac events due to cancer treatment late effects.

Deliver digitally enabled “health hubs” that offer personalised, context-aware health monitoring and support with a focus on managing CV health.

Evaluate the socio-economic impact and scalability of the iCare health hubs in improving health outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for AYA cancer survivors

Widely share project outcomes, data and best practices, ensuring accessibility and reusability for researchers, innovators and professionals across disciplines, particularly to support the UNCAN.eu platform.

Involve actively AYA cancer survivors in the research project, as well as in the design and refinement of interventions and the health hub through Living Labs, co-research and multistakeholder engagement.
