ShiftVET- Digital Transformation for Wood and Furniture VET

The overall objective of the ShiftVET project is to equip i-VET trainers with the necessary knowledge to implement digital technologies in carpentry training. The ultimate goal is to drive the digital transformation of current VET programmes and increase the attractiveness of education in traditional and manufacturing industries.

Results to be achieved:
1
To increase knowledge and understanding of the potential applications of technologies in vocational training in carpentry.

Launch an open and free online repository of materials and exercises for digital technologies to be used in vocational training in carpentry.
3
Assess the practical application of digital technologies, such as 3D printing and XR, among students.
4
Promote and enhance the implementation of advanced technologies in VET in carpentry beyond the consortium partners and analyse the potential for transferability to other industries.
