The aim of the project is to bring robotics closer to manufacturers in the furniture sector and to professionalise the quality control process of complex opening systems in furniture, facilitating their use and lowering the training requirements necessary for their use, thus helping companies to carry out their own quality control tests without delegating them to external laboratories.

Expected results:

To develop an initial state of play of the furniture sector’s current in-house quality control processes.

Identify and select the most complex quality control and product validation processes to be automated through advanced software and hardware solutions based on robotic systems.

To design new quality control processes that allow the integration of dynamic systems based on robotic arms, bringing robotic automation closer to the furniture sector.


4

To professionalise the quality control automation process in the sector, allowing the insertion of robotics in the furniture business fabric, reducing the training requirement for its use.
