New Regulations UNE-EN 16139:2026 Furniture – Safety, strength and durability – Requirements and test methods for non-domestic seating

The Furniture and Wood Technology Center (CETEM) reports on the recent adoption and entry into force of the new UNE-EN 16139:2026 standard, which cancels and replaces UNE-EN 16139:2013. This standard establishes the requirements for testing “Furniture. Strength, durability, and safety. Requirements and test methods for non-domestic seating.”
