CETEM promotes the launch of HERA Labs in Greece for women over 45
Una iniciativa europea que busca empoderar a mujeres mayores de 45 años mediante la formación, el emprendimiento y el acompañamiento profesional..

CETEM participated in the preparatory meetings for HERA Labs, held recently in Larissa, Greece. This initiative, which will soon be implemented in various European cities—including Yecla—aims to promote empowerment, training, and entrepreneurship among women over 45, facilitating their access to new job opportunities or their transition to other professional sectors.
HERA Labs will bring together groups of more than 15 women who, together with a facilitator and representatives from public and private entities, will participate in regular meetings designed to strengthen their personal and professional skills.
During these sessions, CETEM presented the ‘Learning to Learn’ module, one of the fundamental parts of the programme, focused on developing the competence of autonomous and continuous learning throughout life. This approach seeks to enable participants to manage their own learning process, identify the skills and knowledge they need to acquire, and independently evaluate the usefulness of the courses and resources available.
CETEM’s presentation was very well received by the facilitators from the participating countries, who highlighted its practical value and relevance in the current context of digital and social transformation.
HERA Labs are getting closer to becoming a reality in Portugal, Greece, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, the Netherlands and Sweden, marking an important step towards creating inclusive environments that promote equal opportunities and lifelong learning.
