The habitat sector is constantly evolving, and keeping abreast of technological changes, market trends and business opportunities is more important than ever. To help companies navigate this dynamic environment, CETEM launches VIC-HAB, a project focused on Technology Watch and Competitive Intelligence that will provide key information for strategic decision making.
From 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2026, VIC-HAB will analyse the information needs of the habitat industry in the Region of Murcia, with the aim of identifying, filtering and analysing the most relevant data for companies in the sector. Thanks to this initiative, furniture and wood professionals will be able to access quality strategic reports that will allow them to better understand the technological and market environment, thus strengthening their R&D&I strategies.
A project with a real impact on the sector’s competitiveness
VIC-HAB will not only focus on gathering information, but also on disseminating it in an accessible and useful way. CETEM will regularly share detailed reports and analyses through its website, specialised newsletters and social networks, ensuring that strategic knowledge reaches all interested companies. In addition, collaboration and technology transfer between companies and innovation centres will be fostered through tools such as SEIMED, promoting synergies that drive the development of new solutions and business models.
Efficient access to public procurement
Another of the main pillars of VIC-HAB will be to facilitate access to Public Procurement for companies in the habitat sector. Through a Technology Watch Platform, an efficient system will be made available to companies to find out about the business opportunities published daily, improving transparency and competitiveness in the market.
With VIC-HAB, CETEM reinforces its commitment to innovation and growth in the habitat sector, providing companies with the necessary tools to anticipate the future and make informed decisions.
