Expected results:
Improve the decision-making process of companies in the furniture and wood sector, through the appropriate dissemination of the knowledge acquired by the CETEM team through Technological Surveillance.
Consolidate the position of the center as a benchmark in a sector in transition towards innovation, Sustainability and Industry 4.0. The companies will be able to count on the support of CETEM to promote the progress and the technological development of the industrial sector in the Region of Murcia.
Provide updated and quality information, and involve companies in Technological Surveillance by publishing results in CETEM’s online media (website, newsletters
news, social networks, etc.). In addition, quarterly reports, relevant news for the sector and events will be organized both online and in person (days, seminars, webinars, etc.).
Promote participation in technology transfer activities in the business fabric of the Region of Murcia, highlighting the development opportunities that technology transfer and knowledge can contribute to the furniture sector.
Obtain a reference report on design trends in the upholstery sector by preparing reports high-quality newspapers that help companies learn about the latest trends and news in a very specific subsector that is booming and growing in the Region.
Know emerging technologies and trends in the furniture sector, such as changes in furniture styles. design, consumer preferences, innovative materials, technological advances, etc. Also identifying promising market segments and growth niches in the sector.
