The aim of the project is to set European standards for the manufacture of furniture for people with disabilities or physical mobility problems, especially the elderly, through the development of a training pathway for students, designers and furniture manufacturers.

Expected results:

Define the qualification needs in the field of Assisted Living Environment (AAL) and the requirements for the design and manufacture of smart furniture.

Design and develop a joint curriculum by implementing innovative methods in e-learning through a multilingual platform as well as face-to-face learning.

To train personnel in the furniture manufacturing sector to become skilled employees for product design and manufacturing.
