The aim of the project is to promote and strengthen the culture of innovation in SMEs in the Region of Murcia through the adoption, acquisition, and implementation of innovative state-of-the-art tools and solutions to improve their business models.

NewInnBusiness has been a project developed by CETEM within the Innoempresa programme of the Instituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia, which includes support measures and promotion actions aimed at Spanish SMEs in the framework of a policy aimed at strengthening the Spanish business fabric, increasing the innovative capacity of companies as a means to increase their competitiveness, contribute to sustainable growth and, as a result, promote employment and wealth creation, all framed within the EU strategic guidelines for the period 2007-2013.
The project has been financed by the Intituto de Fomento de la Región de Murcia and by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade and is co-financed with ERDF funds.
Expected results:
Identify and implement tools based on free software that improve the quality, functionality, performance and profitability of those used in the furniture sector.
Improving the competitiveness of enterprises through the use of ICTs.
Improve the efficiency of integrated logistics (including procurement, production and dispatch) in the furniture sector through ICT.
To promote the use of ICT in the strategic processes of furniture companies.
