The objective of the project is to develop a polyurethane foaming system based on isocyanate encapsulation, which will open a new methodology for the manufacture of flexible polyurethane foams.

Expected results:

Development of a new microencapsulation method that will improve mixing, reactivity and homogeneity between isocyanate and polyol.

Synthesis of a flexible polyurethane foam with improved physical and mechanical properties.

Possibility of being able to transfer this microencapsulation methodology to other sectors: cosmetics, pharmaceuticals,…
