The main objective of the project is the preparation of both companies and public actors for a correct implementation of Green Public Procurement within the principles of Circular Economy.

Expected results:

1

Improve the competences of companies and professionals involved in public procurement tenders, with special emphasis on SMEs, administrative professionals, and public procurement tenders with environmental criteria.

Adapt the curricula of traditional profiles, such as administrative professionals working in SME tendering departments, to the future demand for competences and skills.

Increase the employability of VET students facing global challenges.

Improve the preparedness of regional actors and raise awareness of the influence of green public procurement on the adoption of sustainable consumption and production behaviours by businesses.

Promote the attractiveness of Vocational Education and Training by re-launching close cooperation between educational institutions, public administrations, government agencies and established bodies to support the development of SMEs; transparency tools for skills validation; and the capacity of trainers to apply an international mindset in education.
