Results to be achieved:
Digital Passport Implemented: The successful implementation of the Digital Product Passport in the furniture sector (FurPass) is expected, creating a robust and scalable system that guarantees complete traceability for each item. Through the development of technologies such as distributed ledger technology (DLT) and other advanced storage systems, FurPass will ensure that critical data on product composition, origin, repair options, and recycling is accessible and verifiable at all times.
Development of AI Algorithms: The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the FurPass platform will optimize key services related to data management and analysis. Advanced predictive models will be developed to forecast product lifecycles, thereby improving design and manufacturing processes to increase sustainability.
Development of Query and Writing Tools: Advanced tools will be developed to operate on DLT networks, facilitating secure and efficient access to product data. These tools will include intuitive user interfaces and APIs that will enable companies, consumers, and other stakeholders to query and update FurPass information effectively.
Decentralized Authentication: The implementation of decentralized authentication mechanisms will be essential to ensure the security and trustworthiness of FurPass. Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) and authentication technologies will be used to verify the authenticity of products and entities in the supply chain.
Technology Demonstrators: The project will include the creation of demonstration products that will integrate the innovations developed, acting as case studies and proof of concept. These technology demonstrators will serve to tangibly showcase the potential and applicability of FurPass in the furniture sector.
