(Fostering Innovation & the Twin Transition for iNclusive EnvironmentS and Smart homes)FITT-NESS aims to strengthen and support SMEs in the furniture sector by creating regional innovation ecosystems. It focuses on innovative areas such as smart homes, adaptive environments for the elderly and green housing, promoting the twin transition (digital and sustainable). It includes less developed regions such as Murcia (Spain) and Northern Portugal, together with a pilot approach in Sicily, under the example of Lombardy as a leading region.
