CARD-IA

Fecha de inicio: 01 Sep 2024 Fecha de finalización prevista: 31 Aug 2027
Development of an artificial intelligence-based home monitoring system for the diagnosis and prediction of heart failure. The CARD-IA system consists of a new multiparametric, non-invasive hardware module designed to acquire biosignals such as electrocardiogram (ECG), photoplethysmogram (PPG), non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP), oximetry and other physiological signals, with ML processing at the edge and a web platform (cloud) for clinical monitoring and prediction of haemodynamic decompensation.
Código de proyecto - CPP2023-010843

Results to be achieved:

1

A non-invasive multi-parameter module capable of acquiring multiple biosignals such as electrocardiography, blood pressure, oximetry, and heart and respiratory rates.

2

Implementation of machine learning techniques for predicting haemodynamic decompensation, anticipating critical phases of heart failure.

3

Integration of secure data communication channels and a robust web platform equipped with advanced cybersecurity measures to protect patient information.

4

Comprehensive and innovative telemedicine solution improving the speed, accuracy and effectiveness of medical monitoring from the patient’s home.

5

A module that provides cardiologists with indicators of risk and progression of heart failure, enabling them to make clinical decisions in advance.
