ACTIVATOR – Activating Older Adults in Citizen Science

ACTIVATOR is a project aimed at encouraging the participation of senior citizens in citizen science initiatives. Empowering older people with scientific knowledge helps to trigger social change and mitigate the effects of many diseases. ACTIVATOR achieves this by training the staff of adult organisations on how to effectively educate and involve older people in citizen science initiatives.

Training programme for professionals working for the benefit of older people on how to educate older people and involve them in Citizen Science.

Manual with Citizen Science knowledge and practical tips on how to successfully involve older people in Citizen Science initiatives and keep them engaged.
