You can learn more about the project goals, results, and partners endeavour to address the priority of environmental sustainability and the fight against climate change by integrating circular economy principles and sustainable practices into the wood and timber construction curriculum.
WENUS is an Erasmus+ project, led by the German institute Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and including partners from InnoRenew CoE, Technological Centre for Furniture and Wood of the Region of Murcia, and Globalnet.
Project partners will create a student-centred curriculum that integrates circular economy principles into timber construction, coupled with tailored training content featuring 3D printing exercises. Additionally, an eLearning platform will be launched, to broaden access and enrich vocational training with essential green and digital skills, thereby fostering greater sustainability and innovation within the sector.
