On 7 October, the Training Test Experience of the Erasmus+ HU-VOLUTION project was held at the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi. The students tested a learning platform on the New European Bauhaus and Society 5.0, aimed at designing more sustainable and inclusive spaces.

The Training Test Experience of the Erasmus+ HU-VOLUTION project was held at the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi on 7th October. During this day, interior and product design students had the opportunity to test the recently concluded learning platform developed within the framework of this project, focused on the New European Bauhaus and Society 5.0.

This innovative platform aims to train future professionals in the habitat sector so that they can contribute to the design of more sustainable, aesthetic and inclusive spaces, aligned with the principles of the New European Bauhaus. During the session, the students learned first-hand about this movement promoted by the European Commission, which seeks to integrate architecture and design in improving the quality of life in towns and cities.

HU-VOLUTION: innovation in the training of designers

The HU-VOLUTION project aims for European universities to prepare the designers of the future with the competences needed to lead the transition to the New European Bauhaus and Society 5.0. This approach aims to create living spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also sustainable and inclusive.

Throughout its development, HU-VOLUTION seeks to implement lifelong learning in higher education with a double objective: to encourage the use of digital tools in the training of designers and to promote green skills that help the ecological transition. In this way, the project contributes to a future in which habitat design is more closely linked to the environmental and social challenges of our time.

With initiatives like this, the collaboration between educational institutions and European projects continues to strengthen the training of professionals committed to a more sustainable and innovative future.
