CETEM presents the COST LIAISE Action at the 2nd National Industrial Symbiosis Meeting held in Barcelona

CETEM participated in the Second National Meeting on Industrial Symbiosis, held in Barcelona, where it had the opportunity to present the COST LIAISE Action, a European initiative that promotes an inclusive and collaborative approach to industrial symbiosis.

The event brought together facilitators and representatives from local, national and international projects linked to the circular economy, providing a space for sharing experiences, best practices and tools that promote collaboration between sectors and territories.

During the meeting, the importance of building active cooperation networks between public entities, technology centres and companies was highlighted, with the aim of accelerating the transition towards more sustainable production models.

CETEM would like to thank the Catalan Waste Agency for organising the event and Marta Gómez Palenque, from the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, for her commitment and constant support for policies that reinforce industrial symbiosis as a pillar of the circular economy in Spain.
