CETEM has been present at the opening meeting of the SWING CAMPUS project, held in Klagenfurt (Austria). This project aims to develop training material so that future primary and secondary school teachers can learn basic sign language in various subjects during their university education, thus facilitating the integration of deaf students in the classroom.
SWING CAMPUS has the participation of the University of Klagenfurt (Austria), the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (Germany), CEIPES (Italy) and the European Union of the Deaf (Belgium), which guarantees a multidisciplinary and European approach in its development.
During the meeting, important progress was made in the selection of keywords for the training material and the next steps were defined. CETEM, with its expertise in innovation and technology, will actively contribute to the success of this project, promoting a more inclusive and accessible education.
