CETEM organises a successful conference on innovation in the housing sector and in rural areas.

Last Tuesday 16th April, CETEM (Technological Centre of Furniture and Wood of the Region of Murcia) organised a conference on innovation in the habitat sector and in rural areas, within the framework of the European project NewEcoSmart.
This conference, which was also attended by the City Council of Yecla and AMUEBLA (Innovative Business Association of Furniture Manufacturers and Related Industries of the Region of Murcia), as project partners, was held both in person at CETEM’s facilities and online, attracting a wide audience interested in learning about the latest trends and solutions in the habitat sector.
CTIC, READER and the company FAMA, among other prominent speakers, shared their experiences and knowledge in the field of innovation and sustainability in the habitat sector, generating an enriching exchange of ideas and experiences.
One of the main attractions of the day was the presentation of the NewEcoSmart self-diagnosis tool, which aroused great interest among the participants. This tool allowed attendees to assess their level of digitalisation and obtain key information for their future development.
In addition, online participation allowed people from all over the world to join the event, thus broadening its reach and providing a platform for global learning and networking.
“We are delighted with the success of this event, which has been possible thanks to the effort and collaboration of all those involved,” said Almudena Muñoz, Project Coordinator. “We hope that this event has been a source of inspiration and knowledge for all participants, and that it will contribute to driving the habitat sector towards a more sustainable and innovative future.
