Assessing Technologies and Market Dynamics for Accessibility, Mobility and Energy Efficiency
The first deliverable of the EU-funded AccessS project ‘Assessing Technologies and Market Dynamics for Accessibility, Mobility and Energy Efficiency’ is released. This report marks an important step forward in the project’s objective to promote innovative solutions in the design of smart cities and adapted spaces.
An infographic provides a detailed analysis of the key technologies, current solutions and emerging trends that are transforming accessibility and sustainability in urban and built environments. In addition, the document addresses the estimated economic impacts and market dynamics that benefit older people with reduced mobility and those with different types of disabilities.
This paper highlights how the combination of accessibility, mobility and energy efficiency is shaping a new paradigm in inclusive design, prioritising the needs of all citizens in the context of the transition towards more sustainable and liveable cities.
AccesS: Innovation for an inclusive future
The AccesS project, in which CETEM actively participates, seeks to promote the implementation of innovative technologies and strategies that contribute to the creation of more accessible, inclusive and sustainable spaces. This first deliverable is just the beginning of a series of advances that will be key to the development of urban environments adapted to the needs of a constantly changing society.
