The aim of the project is the incorporation of adapted robotics and specific tooling systems for the improvement and innovation of traditional quality control, validation and testing processes in the furniture sector.

Expected results:


To introduce one of the key technologies of the fourth industrial revolution, robotics, in order to respond to complex solutions that only this technology can solve.


Develop systems capable of simulating the quasi-human movements needed to reproduce the functioning of advanced mechanisms that are increasingly being incorporated into habitat products.


Introduce 3D printing as a technology for the manufacture of customised tools.


To lay the foundations for a future line of research which, based on continuous improvement and the incorporation of innovative developments, aims to provide companies with sufficient technology to ensure that their creativity in the design of innovative products with new functionalities is not hindered.
