The aim of the project is to create a kitchen that maximises the level of safety and accessibility not only through design for all, but also through the development and integration of technological solutions that adapt the kitchen under the control of a specialised intelligent environment.

Main activities

 

 

• Definition of a new concept of Safe and Accessible Kitchen with Ambient Intelligence.
• Development of a hardware infrastructure of sensors and actuators integrated in furniture, which captures the dynamic conditions of the environment for automatic decision-making.
• Creation of a communications structure that allows the efficient exchange of information between the parts of the system.
• Construction of a software middleware that creates a set of services for the correct management of the kitchen.

Modifications in furniture design to maximize accessibility, security, and integration of electronic modules.

Implementation and integration of sensor and actuator circuits.

Construction of kitchen prototypes with integrated electronics.

Validation and improvement of the complete ambient intelligence cooking system.
