Webinar of the GANYMED project with the participation of CETEM

The seminar on the e-learning platform GANYMED will be held on 23 May.

The health crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic has made clear the importance of digital tools and media in our society. Especially in times of social distancing, video conferencing and synchronous and asynchronous cooperation have become crucial for the social integration of people. However, one group of the population has been particularly affected by the effects of the crisis: the elderly and very elderly.

This group often has difficulties in using current media and communication channels, which has had fatal consequences for their integration into society. To address this problem, three webinars will be held on how to improve the teaching and learning of technology in the elderly, in order to improve their social participation in everyday life.

This third webinar is scheduled for 23 May 2023 at 16.00 CET.

It is aimed at educators, healthcare professionals and anyone interested in helping older people make the most of digital tools. Experts will present strategies and techniques to encourage the use of technology in this population group and improve their quality of life.

Participation in the seminars is free of charge and open to anyone interested in the subject. With these initiatives, it is hoped to achieve greater digital inclusion for older people and greater integration into society at large.
