Age-friendly environment – DESIRE International Conference Summary
We work to make Design for All an integral part of the design process, with the aim of creating housing for older people.
The conference took place on 3 November 2022 at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava in the framework of the Erasmus project “DESIRE – Design for all: Methods for creating age-friendly housing”.
The Erasmus+ project DESIRE – Design for all applied to age-friendly housing.
The project has an international consortium involving 4 countries working with the aim of providing professionals in the construction and housing sector with the necessary tools and skills to apply the Design4All methods.
We are working to make this process an integral part of the design process, with the aim of creating or adapting age-friendly housing as a solution for the well-being of older people.
