ECOPRESSWOOD Project (COMPLETED)

The aim of the project is to develop formaldehyde free wood based panels that combine bio-based chemistry, nanotechnology and process engineering.

Expected Results:

• To develop a free-formaldehyde bi-based resin with a price lower than 2€/kg.
• To achieve same hardness and moisture resistance than commercial wood based panels when used the new bio-based resin.
• To optimize the production process of wood panels.
